So Many Promises

 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Psalms 23:3

Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. John 15:16

Promises, promises, promises. So many promises and You never break any of them, not even in the smallest way! I love to meditate on the promises You have given to those who love You and trust Your grace and salvation my precious Jesus!

There are promises You make for those who don’t believe, and trust only in themselves – these promises scare me for those who are perishing – Oh LORD, that they would turn away from unbelief and instead trust in You, my Father, that they would not have to face Your wrath –

You have faithfully restored my soul – You have given me a wholeness I could never imagine. I feel so secure knowing that so long as I follow You, I will be safe in the path of righteousness because You keep Your promises – it is Your name that is at stake, and You cannot lie!

May I hear your voice and listen and obey!
