Tomorrow is in God’s Hands
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. Matthew 6:33-34
Dearest Father,
You ask me to have faith and patience… today and trust You… today!!! Sometimes that is so hard because so many times I am looking at and wondering about tomorrow. Yet, You are my God who fights in tomorrow, You see the overarching plan and You have/are preparing a way.
As I looked up each verse below about tomorrow, I realized You told the people/person the day or night before what You were about to do. You gave them instructions and many times You encouraged them to be courageous in some way.
Because You are the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, help me Lord to have peace that if I need to be prepared for tomorrow You will speak to me and let me know. Otherwise, help me stop thinking about tomorrow, or future tomorrows, and be in ‘today’.
Help me remember that You know the things I have need of, and how You are going to take care of me and direct my path; My path that will shine brighter and brighter!!! (But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. Proverbs 4:18)

And Joshua said unto the people, Sanctify yourselves: for to morrow the LORD will do wonders among you. Josh. 3:5
And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. Josh 11:6
And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD. 2 Chronicles 20:15-18
Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. James 4:13-14
Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. Proverbs 27:1
