A Prophet’s Heart

Lord,

I stand in Your truth and speak it over my life today. May Your armour protect me and may I wield Your sword, the scriptures, in a right way. I can judge no man but can only look to my own heart and thoughts. Help me to keep them both captive and led by Your Spirit of truth indwelling me. Keep wisdom, mercy, and grace foremost in my thoughts. If there is a word You want me to speak, open my mouth before I can second guess. Otherwise, shut my mouth and cause wrong thoughts to flee from the truth that lives in me and overshadows my life.

Praise You LORD for all You do in my life, all you have done, and for the wholeness that I thought impossible! Indeed, Your grace is sufficient for me! Hear my prayers!

Praise be to You My God and my Redeemer!

Love, Jeanne

Follow after charity, and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy…But he that prophesieth speaketh unto men to edification, and exhortation, and comfort…Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church…But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all: And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth. 1 Corinthians 14:1, 3, 12, 24-25
