Thursday Tippity Tip: Emotional Hunger Pains & Junk Food Relationships

The full soul loatheth an honeycomb; but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet
— Proverbs 27:7

If you are emotionally starving for love or a sense of worth the hunger pains for those things won’t go away. In fact, left alone, they will get progressively worse and cause you to binge on junk food relationships you know are empty and unhealthy but make you feel good in the moment.

Don’t waste your time on junk food relationships that will leave you more unsatisfied and disappointed than the last meal.

No matter who has hurt your or what you have done to sabotage yourself, it is never too late to change your eating habits and fill your hungry soul with the love of Jesus. He is the only one who can satisfy your appetite for needing to be an important part of this life because He is the one who gave you that desire in the first place.

He wants to give you abundantly exceedingly more than you could ever ask or think. He invites you to taste and see that He is good and only wants to give you good things that will nourish and sustain.

So, fill up on the wholesome word of God and dine on the wonderful delicacies of truth He has prepared fill your very soul.

Let the bread of life become your go to sustenance (best of all you can eat as much of that bread as you want and never gain a carb pound 😉)
