  1. Take a Deep Breath - This helps short circuit the reactive train and gets you on the response train
  2. Measure Your Voice - What tone are you using? Neutral? Shrieking? Growling?
  3. Think Like Diplomat - What is the end result you are trying to reach? A bridge or a bomb?
  4. Ask Genuine Questions - "How" and "What" are great ways to phrase genuine questions and be sure to ask because you want to bring healing, not because you want ammo to argue with.
