I’m Thank You’d
“Today I am thankful for…”
This is a fun game I play with my daughters. Randomly I just start out with “Today I am thankful for___________” and then they respond with something they are thankful for and it keeps going.
What I love so much about it is that my oldest daughter says “Today I’m thank you’d for _________”. At first it sounds like improper grammar but if you think about it "Thank you’d” makes sense. She is not just thank FULL she is thanking God Himself for His blessings. It has brought me a new perspective to thankfulness!
This week as Thanksgiving comes up, I encourage you to each day every day find a moment to start “Today I am thankful for_________” or as my one daughter says “Today I’m thank you’d for” and let the blessings God has given become the focus of this beautiful season!
