The Root that Needs Healing

The heart and foundation of a country is the family and America is no different. As I have been praying and pleading for God’s mercy over America, He keeps showing me that the family is the root that needs healing. The American family is fractured and in Psalm 11:3 it says:

If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
— Psalm 11:3

The very foundation of our nation has been being undermined for many years and the resulting faulty infrastructure we are seeing is because we, the church (I am including myself), has lost our God designed vision to:

1.       Love the Lord with all our heart, mind, and strength

2.       Go and make disciples

3.       Train up our children in the way they should go and

4.       Love our neighbors as ourselves

Proverbs 29:18 says:

Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
— Proverbs 29:18

More and more I am realizing the choices I make as a daughter, mother, sister, and friend have ramifications and consequences that will either leave a mark of goodness or scar of regret.

I for one want to follow after righteousness and walk humbly with my God to the glory of His name and the redeeming of America even if it means I must be the Noah of my generation.

Revival starts with prayer, and I want my prayers to be a part of history in the making. God is looking for obedient laborers, and I want to be counted among the faithful who answer the call.

I believe if we want to see revival in this country, we need to pray for the families of America then do what God reveals to us needs to be done, will you join me?
