SONflower

Sunflowers are known for having photosynthesis.

They follow the sun from its rising to its setting and are a magnificent picture of what a believer’s life should look like!

While thinking about those molten petals of gold, I decided I want to be SONflower - A person who sets my gaze on Jesus from the moment I wake up til’ the moment I lay my head down

A person who seeks His face the same way a Sunflower seeks the sun’s light.

I am convinced the more I look to Him the more my countenance will blossom with joy; opening my soul to soak in the glory of the Son of God and saturate it with goodness and love.

This world needs to see vibrant and bold SONflowers thriving in the light of His countenance.

Sunflowers are genetically designed to follow the sun, but I realize I have been given a choice.

I can either hide my face and cringe in the shadows or let my life reflect the glory of God.

I choose to be a SONflower!
