Make Way

Make Way

by Erin P.

Come one, come all or two or three

Come stop and sit awhile with me

I bring joyful tidings of goodness to tell

For unto us was born, Emmanuel

Now is the time to put away

The busy distractions of a hurried day

Harken to me and come behold

The Promised One who was foretold

Make way in your heart, make way

For the Savior has come asking to stay

Hasten to let the King of Kings in

Don’t be too busy to welcome Him

He is your hope; your promise, your light!

Come unto Him; In His presence delight

The Prince of Peace stands at the door

Oh come, oh come and with us adore

Don’t miss the joy of your salvation

Who stands in power over all creation

Give glory to God in the highest,

Give glory to God your Messiah

He comes with peace, good will toward men

He is your Lord oh come worship Him

A merry Christmas to one and all! Christmas is more than one day a year because Christmas is a person, not a moment. Jesus our Emmanuel is here today dwelling inside all believers. Unlike the Inn where there was no room, there is always room for one more in the Kingdom of Heaven and the invitation to make way in your heart for Jesus is always open. The only question that remains is, will YOU make room for him?

Enjoy these Christmas songs and have a wonderful New Years!!

P.S. For any of you out there wondering, the fact that the songs are all by Matthew West was purely accidental ;)

P.S. If you enjoy reading my blog, please consider subscribing. :) I post once a week on Sunday (sometimes less). No matter what, I hope you are blessed by the content!
