Thursday Tippity Tip: Celebrating 30 Days Of Thanksgiving

Ahhhh hello November! This month is special to me for several reasons but one of the biggest reasons is due to one of the largest holidays celebrated in the year. THANKSGIVING!!What better way to honor such a huge holiday and the 1st of November than making a 30 day thankfulness list? This post will contain a list of 30 words. You can take a screen shot of the list or write the words down in a notebook or 3x5 card. I would suggest writing the words down and You'll find out why in a minute. 😉 Each day will have a key word for you to think on. I want you to write down everything you are thankful for because of that word of the day. The goal is that the word of the day triggers more words and thoughts that bring even more thankfulness to your heart. Some of the words may surprise you but I hope they reveal that positives often lie behind what we initially think is negative or insignificant. At the end of the month I want you to re-read through the whole list and share it with others because I know you will be twice blessed when you see just how much there is to be thankful for. Hope this list encourages you and I to meditate on the good things no matter how tough life can get. I will include my thoughts in the first four words in order to give you examples. 😊DAY 1 God - Because of God I am always loved, looked out for, never alone, have hope, have salvation, forgivenDAY 2 Siblings - Because of siblings I learned to love others, been cared about, taught how to stand up for myself, learned what grace is, and found that siblings can actually get along. 😉DAY 3 Friends - Because of friends I have gained fellowship, gained family, learned what it means to listen, felt the joy of acceptence and pain of rejection and learned equalling good life lessons from bothDAY 4 Health - Because of health I can spend time with those I love, hike, ride my bike, exercise, play instruments, see things, feel things, hear music, and go on adventuresDAY 5 HomeDAY 6 ParentsDAY 7 AnimalsDAY 8 WaterDAY 9 CompaniesDAY 10 ClothesDAY 11 WordsDAY 12 Social MediaDAY 13 FoodDAY 14 Transportation (i.e. trains, personal car, planes etc.)DAY 15 PoliticsDAY 16 Pain (i.e. physical/emotional or both)DAY 17 Military/First RespondersDAY 18 Technology (i.e. phones, computers, tablets etc.)DAY 19 HateDAY 20 ChildrenDAY 21 ScienceDAY 22 MusicDAY 23 SportsDAY 24 LoveDAY 25 MedicineDAY 26 ArtDAY 27 HardshipDAY 28 PrayerDAY 29 SceneryDAY 30 Thankfulness
