Thursday Tippity Tip: 4 Ways to Celebrate Autumn!!

Ahhhh it is finally October! Which for me constitutes the beginning of autumn even if the weather is still warm outside. October through January have to be my favorite four months of the year because as a hot bodied person, cool weather is my best friend haha! ๐Ÿ˜ And with October and November come the absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking color changes, delicious hot cocoa drinks,ย  cool breezy days, and all around the beginning of festive Thanksgiving and pre-Christmas preparations.

With so many wonderful changes and aromas in the air, I thought it would be great to do a post on four ways to get ready for ๐Ÿ‚ Autumn ๐Ÿ‚1) Make a list of small town parks or state parks you want to visit and then every week or every other day go explore! Autumn is a wonderful time to adventure out into nature because cooler weather deters bugs and all the fabulous colors are beginning to mix in with the Evergreens and foilage making for some amazing scenery.2) If exploring nature is still not quite your thing, touring around small eclectic towns is also fun! You get the best of both worlds as it were. There is something so charming about snuggling up into a light sweater or coat and traversing the streets for no particular reason other than taking in the sights sounds and delicious aromas wafting from bakeries or street cars.3) Treat yourself! Pick different bakeries or coffee shops and once...or maybe twice ๐Ÿ˜‰ a week go out and enjoy a nice treat by yourself, for a date night, with your kids or some sweet fellowship over a perfect glazed pastry with some girlfriends. Just go and discover the season through pastries and steaming drinks. ๐Ÿโ˜• ๐Ÿฎ Fall flavors have to be some of my all time favorites! So much caramel, pumpkin muffins, Apple cider, pecan cookies EEEEKKKK!!!! You may gain a few pounds but it is worth every bite. Besides, pre-summer workouts will be upon you before you know it so just go ahead and enjoy that double shot-pumpkin spiced-extra whipped creamed frufru specialty coffee. ๐Ÿ˜‰4) Volunteer! There are many places that need an uptick in volunteers during high seasons. With a Holidays in October, November, and December it is a perfect time to donate your time to a shelter, halfway house, helping with kid field trips, soup kitchens, or making gift boxes full of goodies through opertation shoe box or a local group. Wherever God leads you, volunteering is a great way to share the joy of the season with those who are struggling or need to have an extra touch of love. Autumn is the beginning of the "season of giving" (although I think the season of giving should be year around 365 days of the year) so what better way to celebrate the beginning of Autumn by giving back extra? ๐Ÿ˜ŠThere you have it! Four ways to celebrate Autumn. Happy leaf crunching-cocoa sipping-fireside sitting-cozy coat wearing-blanket snuggling-pastry tasting-party planning Autumn everyone! ๐Ÿ˜
