THURSDAY TIPPITY TIP: 3 Practical Items That Should Always Be In Your Vehicle

If you missed last Thursday's post, Click hereToday I will share about 3 items that should always be in your vehicle. They are items I am always reaching for so I hope you find them helpful as well. Please comment with any items you keep in your car that you have found helpful! Here we go!1) A blanket or two. Now, a blanket sounds completely ridiculous when you are sweating in the heat of summer BUT you never know when you will need it. Blankets can be used to cover items you don’t want scratched. They can be a comfy throw over a sleeping passenger, who might feel cold from the blasting air conditioning. They can be used to block the sun out of windows. They can be used for an impromptu picnic. It can be used for a mat if you have to get under your car. Make sure the blankets are not bulky and easy to wash. Fleece or flannels are not good options because EVERYTHING sticks to them. Lightweight cotton quilts or throws are always a good option. To keep them clean, simply place them in a reusable bag that can be easily stored or taken out of the car to be washed.2) Water. No matter where you live, keeping water in the car is always a great idea because you never know when your car my get stuck or you might become thirsty. You can live without food longer than you can without water but water has more uses than just survival. Water can rinse off dirty hands. It can help scrub off the ketchup that got smeared on your seat from that delicious French fry you dropped. It can be added to the radiator in an overheated car. It can help keep you and your kids or passengers hydrated if you forgot your usual drinking cups and have nowhere to get a drink. The uses of water are only limited by your imagination.3) Wipes and/or a couple hand towels. Wipes can be used to clean off sticky surfaces. Hand towels help soak up the spilled juice or coffee or can be used to wipe the sweat drops off your face in my case. ;) They are just handy items that can be used for many different situations from diaper changes to wiping off your glasses. Their uses are many and varied! If you found this post encouraging or helpful, please subscribe to the blog. I post twice a week. Thursday I post a tippity tip and Sunday I post encouraging thoughts from things I am learning.
