I Know In Whom I Have Believed: Part 3

This is part 3 in the Sunday post series, “I Know In Whom I Have Believed”. They are written as if God is writing a letter to you because God personally showed them to me and I want you to feel that same personal experience.  If you missed part 1 in this series Click here . For part 2 of this series Click here My dear child,The one I have namedForgivenRedeemedKeptEstablishedI can’t wait to tell you two more names that express the way I see you. It is important you know who you are in me so there is no place for condemnation’s lies. Because of the curse of sin, life has trials. Those trials will make you feel small...lost... afraid...unsure...but in those trials I want you to remember this truth, you will be comforted. You will be comforted because I am the God of all comfort. No matter how overwhelming a trial becomes, I will comfort you in your tribulation. I will carry you when you can’t walk another step. Trials are not pointless punishments I create to torment you but rather wild fires of sin that happen because of man’s freewill and sometimes  I use the flames thereof to refine you and reveal my glory in your life. Every trial I allow brings a greater depth to your soul. Every trial opens the door to commune and comfort others with the same comfort you received from me when you may not have been able to do so before.  I know that sometimes comfort is needed, not for a trial, but because my promises have faded from your remembrance. Sometimes comfort is needed because fear of man has over shadowed my power. In those times read my word and remember my judgments that I promised. Go back and read all the wonders I have done and be comforted my child that no matter what chaos surrounds you, I conquered it all and my comfort is with you.Psalm 119:52 I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.But what about the times those trials inflict wounds? I am there also. My comfort will give your soul rest but I will also bring healing because I am the healer. Your cries of anguish will reach my ears and I will bring healing. Do not be discouraged if my healing doesn’t look like the healing you thought. Sometimes my healing will be a mystery to everyone, including you because it won’t always be obvious at the time, but always know I will bring healing. You may wonder why I would allow wounds. Though this may be hard to understand, I allow the inflicting of some wounds because I love you too much not to. You see, there are lessons in life that can only be learned through pain and you must be assured that I never waste a hurt. Know that if I allow you to be wounded, I will be right there to bind and heal you so that no wound is ever in vain.Psalm 30:2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.Psalm 147:3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.Job 5:18 For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. And so my beloved one, may you be comforted and healed by these words. Until next time, remember who you are in me.
