Thursday Tippity Tip: 5 Uses For Shower Curtain Rings! (Hint, They Don't Involve a Shower Curtain 😉)
Welcome to another Thursday tippity tip! If you missed last Thursday's tippity tip, please Click hereRecently I have come across many uses for shower curtain rings. I never knew such a simple invention could be so useful beyond keeping my pretty curtains in place. 😄 The best part is that they come in all sizes, colors and textures and are affordable especially if you get them from thrift stores! I have found packages of shower curtain rings sometimes for $0.25 or 1.00. Cha-ching!! Below I will be "shower ring" you with five uses for these handy little items. Get it? Showering -shower ring...oh nevermind. 😁😝Onward!!USE #1 - Hair tie holder! Is it just me or are hair ties one of those items that are constantly MIA when you need them? Shower curtain rings are fantasitc for keeping hair ties in order and findable! Simply slip the hair ties on to the loop then secure the ring. This is especially great for trips. I know I have left many hair ties on permanent vacations but now thanks to shower rings, I will be able to keep track of my hair ties by keeping them in one spot and attched to my bag.USE #2 - Key Ring holder! A shower curtain ring can be attached to your belt, key chain, or lanyard and used to hold the metal loop that connects to the key or keys you carry. You could always get a carabiner to do that but if you don't have that luxury, now you know a great alternative!USE #3 - Tank top & Tie holder! Tired of digging through drawers to find the tank top you need or do you just need a way to hang your ties? Just grab a coat hanger and some spare shower curtain rings! Loop the shoulder straps through a shower curtain ring and place the ring on the bottom bar of the coat hanger. With ties you simply pull the tie through to the middle so it hangs evenly or leave the tie tied very loosely and link the ring through it. Repeat as needed! You can hang many tank tops or ties on the same hanger. This saves drawer space and closet space while also making your tank tops or ties more readily accessible and visible.USE #4 - Cart Baby Toy Holder! Whether you have a cart cover or not, attaching baby toys to shower curtain rings is a great alternative. All you have to do is throw the toys with the attached rings in the diaper bag and then link them to the cart or to each other when you need them. If you don't have any kids you need to amuse, 😉 you can also use a sturdy shower curtain ring to secure your purse to the cart.USE #5 - Flip-flop holder! It's really annoying when you want to bring an extra pair of flip-flops and trying to remember to bring a separate bag and/or keeping the pair together can be more trouble than they are worth. Now there is a solution! Simply slip the shower curtain ring through one or both straps on each flip flop and attach the ring to your shoulder bag. Done and done! No more sand or dirty sandals in your bag and no more trying to stuff them somewhere and hope both flip flops end up in the same spot. 😁Those are just five of many uses for shower curtain rings.
